District Coaching

In-school IM Math™ workshops and coaching for K–5 districts

Single-day school visits, grade-band sessions, and multi-visit coaching cohorts. For districts that are one to three years into IM Math™ adoption and need the training to keep landing past the initial rollout.

Three formats, one practitioner

Every session, workshop, and coaching visit is delivered by Rosanne. You get the same practitioner in September that you get in March.

Single-day school coaching visit

A walk-through of how IM Math™ is landing in your classrooms today, with concrete coaching next steps before I leave the school.

Grade-band workshops

K–2 and 3–5 sessions for newly hired teachers, or for the cohort that needs a refresh between district-funded rollout phases.

Multi-visit coaching cohorts

A scheduled set of visits across the school year, so the September workshop and the March follow-up come from the same practitioner, with the same approach.

If you're weighing this against…

"We already pay BetterLesson for our IM rollout."

BetterLesson is built for the multi-year enterprise contract. That model handles the rollout cohort well, then thins out for the teachers you hire afterward. Brookside fills the gap that contract wasn't designed for: the teacher who arrived in year two, the school that needs a coaching visit in March, the principal who wants one practitioner on a first-name basis with their staff. Districts use Brookside alongside BetterLesson, not instead of it.

"A solo consultant can't scale to a district our size."

Scale in elementary math PD is a question of voice consistency, not headcount. A bench of contractors gives a district twelve coaches saying twelve slightly different things about IM Math™ across a school year. I deliver every session myself, which means the workshop in September and the coaching visit in March come from the same practitioner. For districts above ten elementary schools, I scope by cohort and grade band rather than by school count.
